Whats up everybody!
Back once again for another blog. Still not much going on this week as well. This last week at work, I have been working on setting up a photo presentation for the Brethren Service Center's employee recognition event. This is an event where the center shows appreciation for employees who have been here a lot of years. 5, 10, 15, 20, and so on. My job is to collect past and present photos of the recognized employees and put them in a slide show so they can be displayed during the event. Also, had another computer that I had to install in the Disaster ministries. That took a couple of days to finish because there where things that Francie and I had to go over. I went to Fredrick COB yesterday. It was another good service. Next week I'll go to Union Bridge COB. Everyone here has been cool as usual. Still hanging out with the old folks as always. I just cleaned my computer a couple of days ago so I am happy about that. I haven't done a clean install for about a year now. I really didn't need to, but I wanted to so I can increase some of my hard drive space. Last week, we said "See Ya, later" to Ric and Jan, who are volunteers here. They were here for a couple of months and they we'll be returning right before I leave here in two years. They are also from California. Dam, California, where the weather is real nice over there right now. Over here it sucks. Been really warm 85-90. That is high for the month of October. People here tell me that normally it supposed to be getting cold in October. Its not happening yet. It will, but I sound like I'm a little impatient about it. That is because I come from a place where in October, this is a place to where a sweatshirt during Friday night high school football games. Speaking of HS football, I heard Waterford finally beat Riverbank last week. Congrats on the victory, but we will see you next year for sure, you can bet on that. Good luck on the rest of the season anyway, Waterford. Anyway, I want to give a shot out to everybody back home: my Mom, my Pops, Dale and family, my Brothers, Courtney, Katie, Priscilla, Tony, Luia, Dave (still lovin the tat), Melissa, Grandma Minnie, Grandma Love, Nana, Glenn & Donna, the Waterford COB congregation family (hope we get a pastor soon, Glenn is getting tired), Uncle Domingo and Aunt Charo, Uncle Balvino & Aunt Cathy, Lonnie, and everyone else I missed but still love. Oh yeah last but not least for sure, my BVS unit members from 275, hope you are all doing your thang at your projects and I will see ya'll soon. Peace!
